Subject: For those who grew up in Quadrangles

Dear Friends,

I’m planning on publishing an English Magazine ‘Quadrangle’ which would come out most probably by end of November’2014 targeting Sri Lankans, for those who spent some part of their lives or grew up in ‘Quadrangles’. Primarily the Old Boys of St. Benedict’s, St. Anthony’s (Katugastota), St. Joseph’s and St. Peter’s and later on to be extended to others.

A bimonthly 100 page full colour publication, with a soft copy backed by a website (www.quadrangle.lk) reaching out to the global network of contacts (estimated 20,000+ base). The concept was shared with respective OBU’s (and OBU Sports Clubs) in Sri Lanka as I intend to promote the alumni’s of the four schools through this and foster camaraderie which would benefit the OBU’s immensely in long run (financially and other means). However this would not have any direct association to any OBU or a School.

Some eminent guest writers on board such as Lucien Rajakarunanayake, Niel Wijeratne, Elmo Rodrigopulle, Franklyn Amarasinghe, Marlon Fernandopulle, Rohantha Athukorala, Ranjith Perera, Romesh Abeywickrama along with Algi Wijewickrama completing the Quadrangular schools representation and few more experienced and young writers to make a fine blend.

Content will include feature articles on outstanding alumni’s of the Quadrangular Schools, local Business/Economy review, reviews on Hotels, Restaurants and Pubs. Life styles & Fashion, Sports (current and going down the memory lanes), Entertainment, News from Global Quadrangular Bodies/Associations and Special Columns.

I’ve allocated couple of pages to promote (selected photographs of) main events of overseas OBU branches (Dances and sports events) and also to carry a diary on upcoming events. If you wish to promote your OBU event, would appreciate if you can send me few photographs (clear, high resolution JPG images preferably min 1 MB size) with captions and labels (names) on such events held between 1st August to 1st October this year and upcoming events for November, December and January.

The deadline to submit photographs/details would be 10th October.

Hope you will make use of this opportunity and do keep in touch.

You can reply to this email or send it to inspireone.

Thanks & best regards!
