Inter House Aquatic Championship 2012

Dear Friends,

The Annual Inter House Aquatic Championship was held on 1st October 2012 at the College Swimming Pool Complex with Mr and Mrs. Christopher Joseph (Former President of the Welfare Society) gracing the occasion as Chief Guest.

The opening ceremony got underway with the Swimming parade led by the College Western Band followed by the Swimming captain Master Steve David carrying the National flag, Head Prefect Master Ashan Sugunakumar carrying the College flag, the House captains Masters Timon Nathaniel, Prince Ashan, Shevon Perera and Lara Wambeck of Cassian, Camillus, Claude and Luke House carrying their house flags respectively, followed by the participants and Rev. Bro. Janaka Fonseka – Director, Rev. Bro. Niran Perera – Sub Director, Rev. Bro. Praveen Vaz – Sports Co-ordinator, Rev. Bro. Malith, Mr. Dinesh Dayananda – Main coach, Miss. Kamala Saviyar – Teacher in Charge and Mr. Ananda Amerasinghe – MIC .

30 events were held with 85 swimmers participating under the age groups of 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19. Camillus House with 179 Points emerged Champions while Cassian with 156, Luke with 149 and Claude with 143 won 2nd, 3rd and 4th places respectively.

Under 9 – Master Imalka Perera of Claude House
U11 – Master Angello Perera of Claude House
U13 – Master Netmal Wijesinghe of Cassian House
U15 – Master Sonal Ganegoda of Cassian House
U17 – Master Prince Ashan of Camillus House
U19 – Master Steve David of Camillus House
